MIA representatives at CARICC attend Meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan

The second Meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Almaty on August 8-10, 2019.
The event is part of enhancing security cooperation in the region. The sides discussed matters of cooperation between internal affairs bodies of border regions in preventing theft of property and migration and search for persons.
The participants also discussed results of the anti-drug operation “Pautina”, aimed at suppressing synthetic drugs supply and distribution channels and held in July this year in the Central Asian region.
Ministers of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Lieutenant General Yerlan Turgumbayev; of Tajikistan Colonel General of militia Ramazon Rakhimzoda; of Uzbekistan Major General Pulat Bobozhonov; and representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and at CARICC Colonel A. Dolosbaev participated in the meeting. Also attending the meeting was Colonel S. Habibulloev, representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan at CARICC.
