Online meeting of analytical units of CARICC Member States

An online meeting of representatives from analytical units of competent authorities of CARICC Member States took place on 20 October 2026.

Participants discussed improving statistical reporting, providing comparability of national data, updating the Centre’s information resources and developing a unified registry of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

The meeting resulted in an agreement to adopt a revised CARICC statistical reporting form, standardize units of measurement, cross-check data across the Centre’s information systems and conduct a comparative analysis of national lists of controlled substances.

These measures are designed to raise quality of analytical information, promote exchange of information and strengthen cooperation among competent authorities of CARICC Member States.
