Meeting of Experts of the CNC of the CARICC Member States Has Begun Its Work in Almaty at CARICC

Today, 22 September 2026, in Almaty, at the premises of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors (CARICC), a meeting of experts of the Council of National Coordinators (CNC) of the CARICC member states has begun its work.

During the meeting, the experts will consider current issues of the Centre’s activities and will discuss and formulate work plans for 2027. The participants will analyse the results of CARICC’s work over the past period, exchange views on current aspects of cooperation aimed at countering illicit drug trafficking, and identify priority areas of activity for the coming year.

The meeting is attended by experts of the national coordinators from the CARICC member states and representatives of the Centre’s management and relevant units.

Following the experts’ work, proposals and recommendations will be developed and submitted for consideration at the next meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of CARICC.
