On the 23^rd of January 2017, a meeting of Mr. A. Shayakhmetov, Acting Director of CARICC S, with Mr. F. Saprykin, Deputy Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia/Senior Counsellor for Political Affairs, was held in CARICC.
During the meeting both parties discussed the current drug situation in Central Asia and possible prospects of cooperation among the two organizations, including through the involvement of CARICC to participate in future joint projects of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia with the UNODC Regional Representative Office in Central Asia.
