CARICC hosted an online meeting on 18 April 2025 on contemporary trends in drug situation in Central Asia against the backdrop of growing threat of synthetic drugs and new psychoactive substances.

The event brought together representatives of competent authorities of CARICC member states, observer countries, and experts from INCB, UNODC, CIS ATC and other international organizations.

CARICC analysts informed about trends of drug situation development in Central Asia, briefed participants on the concept of early warning system for synthetic drugs emergence.

In open discussions participants exchanged views on measures taken by the international community to combat the spread of synthetic drugs.
