A meeting of representatives of counter-narcotics agencies of CARICC Member States, as well as Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Iran, USA and Türkiye, experts of the Regional Office for Capacity Building of the World Customs Organization European Region (ROCB Europe) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime was held on 23 October 2024 in Almaty in a hybrid format.

Participants reviewed new trends in drug situation, analyzed data on major drug seizures in CARICC Member States and foreign countries, where drug trafficking routes pass.

The event resulted in recommendations on combating drug trafficking in countries along the Northern and Caucasus drug trafficking routes.
