On March 31, 2023, a delegation of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, headed by the Ambassador Alexey Rogov, visited the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Center for Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between CARICC and the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.

During the meeting, CARICC analysts made a presentation on the goals and objectives of the Center within its mandate, the results of operations, as well as planned initiatives for the near future. In addition, information was provided on the current situation in Afghanistan, its impact on the drug situation in the Central Asian region.

The parties noted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed their intention to continue interaction on issues of mutual interest.
